The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital represent the most recent evolution of clinical skills and is divided into two operative units that physically operate inside the small animal division, near the main body of the School, the San Sollecito, and inside the large animal division, located quite close, in Loc. Casette San Domenico. The hospital accomplishes for institutional purposes to clinical duties for different animal species.
Routine clinical activities and emergencies are performed inside the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital 24 hrs a day and hospitalized patients are monitored across the whole day.
The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital also has at its disposal hospitalization and treatment rooms dedicated to patient presenting infectious/contagious diseases.
